In 1960, Aston Martin collaborated with famous Italian coachbuilder Zagato to create one of the automotive world's most iconic cars: the DB4 GT Zagato. An even more focused car than the DB4 GT upon which it's based, the Zagato was a lighter, more aerodynamic, and more powerful machine. These new developments were impressive on their own, yet what made the Zagato a true icon was its show-stopping design. Only 19 examples of the DB4 GT Zagato were ever produced, making it exceedingly rare, and a truly special car to come across. In 1988, four unused DB4 chassis were rebuilt to full Zagato specification with the approval of Aston Martin, these four continuation cars are known as the Sanction II.
