Aston Martin DB5 Vantage Convertible (1964 to 1965)

One of the most prized and sought after versions of the Aston Martin DB5 was the performance focused DB5 Vantage Convertible. These convertibles were fitted with the more powerful Vantage engine, which was the same 4.0L straight six as found in other DB5 variants, but with a revised camshaft and three Weber carburetors. This more powerful engine generated 325hp as opposed to the 282hp available from the standard engine. Just 7 examples of the Aston Martin DB5 Vantage Convertible were built before production ended in 1965.
