Audi 80 / 90 - B3 (1987 to 1992)

The third generation of Audi 80 was introduced for the 1987 model year. The third generation 80 was known as the B3, and as available exclusively as a sedan. The 80 featured various inline four engines, while the higher tier 90 variant was available with a selection of inline five engines. Audi only made the 2.3L inline five powered 90 variant available in the North American market, marketing it as the GT. Production of the B3 Audi 80 ended in 1992, with the model being replaced by the Fourth Generation Audi 80.
