Audi R8 V10 RWS Coupe - Type 4S (2018 to 2018)

The Audi R8 V10 RWS was a limited production variant of the Type 4S R8 that was offered for the 2018 model year. The R8 RWS, which stands for Rear Wheel Series, is a rear wheel drive variant that was built in both coupe and convertible body styles. These cars were powered by a 533hp version of Audi's 5.2L V10 engine, with drive sent to the rear through a 7 speed S-Tronic automatic transmission. Due to the removal of all wheel drive, the RWS is significantly lighter than its Quattro counterparts. Just 999 examples of the Audi R8 RWS were built, but the concept of a rear wheel drive R8 proved so popular that Audi introduced the Type 4S R8 V10 RWD for the 2019 model year.
