The XP Series were introduced by Bocar in 1958. It included prototypes and developed versions such as the XP‑4, XP‑5 and XP‑6, all with two-seat fiberglass roadster bodies on tubular frames, rear-wheel drive and a 4 speed manual transmission. The XP‑4 and XP-5 had a 4.6L V8. The XP-6 had a stretched chassis and featured a 5.7L V8, reaching up to 400hp and was geared towards pure competition. All XPs retained their roadster design, rear-wheel drive and a focus on lightness and high performance. The Bocar XP Series were produced until 1960.
