The B611 was introduced by Borgward in 1957 as a commercial vehicle designed for light transport and cargo. It was available in several body styles including pickup, panel van and minibus. It featured rear-wheel drive and a 4 speed manual transmission. Its engine was an inline four with a displacement of 1493cc in the gasoline version and 1758cc in the diesel option. Notably, the B611 combined the robustness of a reinforced chassis with the maneuverability of a light vehicle, making it a benchmark for efficiency and versatility in commercial transport during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The Borgward B611 was produced until 1961.
