The high performance version of the EB 110 was known as the Super Sport. Introduced in 1992, the EB 110 Super Sport featured an uprated engine as well as heavy use of carbon fiber in order to create a lighter and more powerful car. The 3.5L quad turbo V12 engine was tuned to produce 603hp. Rarer and more desirable than its EB 110 GT sibling, the Super Sport was built until 1995, with an estimated 31 examples produced.
