Buick Skylark - Standard Variants - 1st Gen (1964 to 1967)

The first generation of Buick Skylark was introduced in 1964. The Skylark name had previously been used for the Buick Roadmaster and Buick Special as a trim option, but starting in 1964, the Skylark became its own model, and was Buick's top mid range offering. The first generation Skylark was available as a sedan, coupe, station wagon, and convertible, and was powered by a range of inline six, V6, and V8 engines. The most notable first generation Skylark was the Skylark Gran Sport, a performance focused variant that would spun off into its own model in 1967. Production of the first generation Skylark continued until 1967 and was replaced by the Second Generation Buick Skylark.
