Cadillac Calais - 1st Gen (1965 to 1970)

The 1st gen Cadillac Calais came to market in 1965 as a full-size luxury car that was available in different coachworks; sedan, coupe and hardtop. Two engine configurations were offered, either a 429ci V8 or a 472ci both paired with an automatic transmission that sent power to the rear wheels. The 1st gen Calais was in production up to 1970 when the 2nd gen was presented as a 1971 model.
