The Chevrolet Biscayne 5th Gen began production in 1971, and in 1972 The United States Plants ended production. Canada contined to produce the Biscaynne in 1973 through 1975, when production of the Biscaynne ended. While The 5th Gen Biscayne was not made in the U.S. for the full production it was still sold throughout the United States, with most sales coming from fleet orders. The last Generation Biscayne was still avaiable with a 6 Cylinder, but you could get still get a V8, or opt for the 396 (402ci), or the top of line torq monster 454 Big block.
