Chevrolet Caprice - 3rd Gen (1977 to 1990)

The third generation of Chevrolet Caprice was unveiled for the 1977 model year. This updated generation saw the introduction of more angular styling as well as a downsizing of the model. Sedan, coupe, and station wagon body styles were offered, as was a wide range of engines including inline six, V6, and V8 options. Chevrolet built the third generation until 1990, and replaced it with the Fourth Generation Chevrolet Caprice.
