Chevrolet C/K - 2nd Gen (1967 to 1972)

The Second Generation of the Chevrolet C/K debuted for the 1967 model year. This new generation, which is often referred to as the "Action Line," saw the model gain more comforts over the previous 1st Gen C/K. These new pickup trucks were powered by a range of engines which included inline six and V8 powerplants. Both rear wheel drive and four wheel drive variants were built, with rear wheel drive examples featuring a C in their name, while four wheel drive trucks featured a K. The most common variants were the 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton trucks, which were denoted 10, 20, and 30 respectively, however, medium duty variants such as the C40 and C50 were also built. The rear wheel drive C10, C20, and C30, as well as the four wheel drive K10 and K20 are amongst the most well known variants. Due to the popularity of the C/K it was commonly converted into a Custom vehicle. Production of the 2nd Gen C/K lasted until 1972, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Chevrolet C/K.
