The second generation of Chevrolet Nomad debuted for the 1958 model year. This latest generation of Nomad saw the two door station wagon body dropped in favor of a four door body. For 1958 the Nomad was part of the Bel Air family, but from 1959 onwards, it was fell under the new Chevrolet Impala range. These high end station wagons featured small block V8 power, and were built until 1961. The Nomad name was discontinued until 1968, when the Nomad name was reborn as part of the 2nd Gen Chevrolet Chevelle.
