Chevrolet introduced the third generation of Nomad for the 1968 model year. The Nomad name had been in haitus after 1961, but this latest generation saw the name return for a series of four door Chevelle based station wagons. A wide range of engine options were offered, including inline six, small block V8, and big block V8 units. The third generation of Nomad was built until 1972, when the model was discontinued.
