Cisitalia 505 DF (1953 to 1957)

The 505 DF was introduced in 1953 by Cisitalia. It was an elegant luxury sedan presented with a four door body and sober lines. It was built on a rear-wheel drive chassis and equipped with a four speed manual transmission, ensuring traditional yet refined handling. Its 1901cc inline four engine is capable of delivering around 60hp, sufficient for competent road performance. A notable aspect of this model is that, unlike Cisitalia's sports cars, the 505 DF was intended as a performance and comfort car, demonstrating the brand's ambition to expand beyond competition cars into the luxury segment. The Cisitalia 505 DF was produced until 1957.
