The Crosley Hotshot was a series of compact sports cars that were introduced for the 1949 model year. The Hotshot featured a front-mid mounted engine, and was built in a two seat roadster body style. The standard Hotshot did not feature any doors, although they were an optional extra. The premium trim level, known as the Super, was also offered. This variant included standard doors, as well as improved trim and complete cabin red plastic leather upholstery. From the 1951 model year, the Super Hotshot became known as the Super Sports. All Hotshot variants were powered by a 724cc inline four engine that generated 27hp and sent drive to the rear wheels via a 3 speed manual transmission. Production of the Crosley Hotshot ended in 1952, with a total of 2,498 examples built.
