The DeSoto S3 was a series of full-size cars introduced for the 1937 model year. After the Airflow and Airstream, DeSoto consolidated their offerings into one model, the S3. These cars were available in a range of body styles including two and four door saloon. The S3 was powered by a 3.7L inline six engine that produed 168hp and sent power to the rear wheels. The S3 was only offered for the 1937 model year and was replaced by the DeSoto S5.
