Duesenberg Model D (1966 to 1966)

The Duesenberg Model D was a one off prototype presented in 1966. The Model D was the brainchild of Fritz Duesenberg, the son of founder August, and designed by Virgil Exner. While bodied and built by Ghia, the Model D was built on a 1966 Imperial, and featured a 7.2L V8 engine. Unfortunately, due to financing problems the car never reached production, with only the prototype built.
