The Duesenberg Model SSJ was the rarest and most unique Model J variant produced. The SSJ, meaning short-wheelbase supercharged J, was created by fitting a tuned version of the Model SJ's engine onto a special shortened chassis. The Model SSJ featured outstanding performance at the time, with its engine producing 400hp. Only two examples of the Duesenberg Model SSJ were ever built, making it one of the world's most desirable cars.
