Ford Courier - 2nd Gen (1972 to 1982)

The second generation of Ford Courier was introduced for the 1972 model year. Whereas the First Generation Courier was offered as a sedan delivery, the Second Generation was a series of compact pickup trucks that were largely rebadged versions of the Mazda B-Series. These compact pickups were powered by 1.8L or 2.0L inline four engines during their production, and although smaller than Ford F-Series trucks, Courier trucks still had a 1,400lb load capacity. Ford offered the Courier in North America until 1982, when it was replaced by the Ford Ranger, although production continued in other parts of the world.
