Ford Escort - Standard Variants - Mk1 (1968 to 1975)

While the Mk1 Ford Escort might be revered amongst automotive enthusiasts due to its sporty variants and motorsports success, a wide range of more standard variants were also built. These variants, which included the 1100L, 1300L, 1300XL, and 1300GT, were built in coupe, sedan, station wagon, and panel van body styles, with 1.1L or 1.3L inline four engines. Both manual and automatic transmissions were available, and production lasted until 1975, when the next generation Mk2 Ford Escort debuted.
