The Ford F-450 was a variant of the 3rd Gen F-Series Super Duty that was introduced for the 2011 model year. The F-450 Super Duty was a heavy-duty truck that was built in a crew cab pickup body style with the long truck bed or a cab-chassis body style. The main powerplant available on the 3rd Gen F-450 was the 6.7L 'Powerstroke' V8 diesel engine, although cab-chassis was available with a 6.8L V10. A 5 or 6 speed automatic transmission was offered with drive going to the dual rear wheels. Production of the 3rd Gen F-450 ended in 2016, when it was replaced by the 4th Gen Ford F-450 Super Duty.
