The RS500 Mk2 was produced introduced in 2010 as a limited and extreme edition of the Ford Focus Mk2 (EU). Just 500 numbered units were produced, exclusively in matte black with a vinyl finish. It retained the 3 door hatchback body, front-wheel drive and the Quaife limited-slip differential, but its 2.5L turbocharged inline five engine was boosted to 350hp. It maintained the 6 speed manual transmission and incorporated brakes, suspension and cooling system optimized for intensive use. The Focus RS500 Mk2 was produced until 2011.
