Ford GT Lightweight - 2nd Gen (2019 to 2019)

The Ford GT Lightweight was a variant of the 2nd Gen Ford GT that was introduced for the 2019 model year. The Lightweight was less of a variant, than it was a special order package. Officially known as the 600A Lightweight Package, these cars were a largely a more civilized version of the hardcore Ford GT Competition Series. While featuring the same weight saving measures as the Competition, the Lightweight included a few comforts, such as AC and radio. Selecting the Lightweight package had no impact on the 647hp, twin-turbocharged Ecoboost V6 engine, or the 7 speed, dual clutch automatic transmission.
