Ford Shelby Mustang GT350H - 1st Gen (1968 to 1968)

For 1968, as part of the 1967-1968 Ford Shelby Mustang, Ford and Hertz renewed their partnership to produce a limited run of GT350H rent-a-racers. The 1968 GT350H was only built in a fastback coupe body style and was powered by the "J-Code" 302 (4.9L) V8 which generated 306hp. This engine drove the rear wheels through a "Cruise-O-Matic" 3 speed automatic transmission. Just 224 examples of the 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350H were built, making it an incredibly rare car. Ford continued to build the GT350H the following year, the 1969 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350H.
