Ford Mustang Shelby GT & GT/SC Barrett-Jackson Edition - S-197 I (2008 to 2008)

The 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT & Shelby GT/SC Barret-Jackson Edition were limited production variants of the S-197 I Shelby Mustang that were offered exclusively for the 2008 model year. Using the Shelby GT and the Shelby GT/SC as the base, these cars were built in collaboration with Barrett-Jackson, and featured a distinctive black paint scheme accented by red racing stripes. The 2008 Barrett-Jackson Edition cars were available in two configurations: the standard Shelby GT with the naturally aspirated 319hp 4.6L V8, and the Shelby GT/SC with a factory-installed supercharger that boosted output to approximately 550hp, paired to a manual or automatic transmission. Sold exclusively in Arizona, just 100 examples (61 coupe and 39 convertible) were built.
