Ford Taurus - 6th Gen (2010 to 2019)

The 6th Generation of the Ford Taurus was introduced for 2010, representing a complete redesign and repositioning of the model as a larger, more premium sedan. It was offered exclusively as a 4 door sedan, with front-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive available on higher trim levels. It used a 6 speed automatic transmission. The base engines were the 3.5L V6 and a 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged inline four. The Taurus SHO returned with a 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine, standard all-wheel drive and a 6 speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. The main versions were the SE, SEL, Limited and SHO, with improvements in technology, comfort and safety. The 6th Gen Ford Taurus was produced until 2019, being the model last generation.
