Gumpert Apollo (2005 to 2012)

The Apollo was introduced by Gumpert in 2005. It was a supercar produced in Base, Sport, Race and the limited Enraged versions, all with a two-seat coupe body, rear-wheel drive and a 6 speed sequential transmission. It was powered by an Audi sourced 4.2L twin-turbo V8 engine with power outputs between 650hp and 780hp, designed to deliver radical on track performance. It stood out for its extreme aerodynamics and race-oriented chassis, achieving a record time at the Nürburgring (7:11.57), making it one of the fastest and most radical cars of its time. The Gumpert Apollo was produced until 2012.
