Honda Prelude - 3rd Gen (1988 to 1991)

The third generation Honda Prelude was introduced in 1987 for the 1988 model year. Offered with a range of inline 4 engines, the Prelude was intended to have sportier feel and more involved driving characteristics than other Honda models. The third generation Prelude also shared styling cues with its big brother, the Acura NSX. The most notable variant was the performance focused SI (Sport Injected). Built until 1991, the third generation Prelude was replaced by the Fourth Generation Honda Prelude.
