Honda released the S660 in Japan in 2015 but to the dismay of many, not in the U.S. The S660 followed the Honda Beat in a line of Kei (microcar) class cars in Japan. It is a two-door roadster with a targa-style removable top. The S660 was given a mid-transverse, turbocharged inline three-cylinder engine to qualify for its class regulations. Available in a six-speed manual or seven-speed CVT automatic, the car puts 63hp to its rear wheels. A unique final year model named the Modulo X Version Z was produced but was mainly an exterior and interior trim package. 2022 was the last year for the S660. Honda has not made a successor.
