Hotchkiss Gregoire (1950 to 1954)

The Gregoire was introduced by Hotchkiss in 1950. It was an innovative automobile produced as the result of a collaboration between Hotchkiss and engineer Jean-Albert Grégoire. The Grégoire had a modern aerodynamic design with a 4-door sedan body and front-wheel drive. Equipped with a 2.2L flat four engine and paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, the Gregoire provided a smooth and stable ride. Despite its merits, this car was too expensive to manufacture and proved commercially unviable. The Hotchkiss Gregoire was produced until 1954.
