The Model B was introduced by Hupmobile in 1932. It was designed to offer a balance of performance, style and affordability in an increasingly competitive market. Its power came from a 3.7L inline six engine that sent power to the rear wheels via a three speed manual transmission. The Model B was part of Hupmobile's attempt to stay afloat during the economic downturn of the 1930s. While it offered attractive design and good performance, sales were not strong enough to improve the company's financial situation. The Hupmobile Model B was produced until 1933.
