Jaguar XKR-S - 2nd Gen (2012 to 2014)

For the 2012 model year, Jaguar introduced the high performance XKR-S as a variant of the 2nd Gen XK. The R-S shared the same 5.0L supercharged V8 engine as the XKR, but now with Gen III 'R' direct injection, providing the driver with 542hp and 502 lb-ft. Power from the engine drove the rear wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission. Other upgrades included standard 20” Vulcan wheels, active sport exhaust and the high performance braking system. Production of the Jaguar XKR-S ended in 2014, but many late production examples are registered as 2015 cars.
