Jeep Grand Cherokee - WJ (1999 to 2004)

The second generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee was introduced for the 1999 model year. Known as the WJ, the second generation Grand Cherokee was largely an all new model, sharing very few components with its predecessor. The WJ was available with a range of engines, including inline six and V8 gasoline options, and an inline five diesel option. Notable variants include the Laredo, Limited, and Overland. The WJ Grand Cherokee was in production until 2004, and was replaced by the Jeep Grand Cherokee WK.
