X-Bow - Base (2008 to 2011)

The Base Model was introduced in 2008 as a variant of the KTM X-Bow. It was characterized by its radical roadster design with no roof or windshield, and an exposed carbon fiber monocoque chassis. It features rear-wheel drive, a 6-speed manual transmission and an Audi-sourced 2.0L turbocharged inline four engine, delivering around 240hp. A notable feature of the Base X-Bow is that it was one of the first production cars to use a full carbon monocoque without electronic aids, making it a purist machine focused on driving sensations. The KTM X-Bow Base Model was produced until 2011.
