Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 (1966 to 1969)

The Lamborghini 400 GT "2+2" is the common name for the 2nd evolution of the 400 GT. Featuring a 4L V12 and updated design and bodywork, the "2+2" also featured 2 small backseats, thus giving it it's "2+2" moniker. Not only did these cars feature the recently updated V12, but they also featured a new synchromesh transmission that gave for greater driveability. The 2+2 feature a different side indicators, a longer, sloping roofline, as well as interior updates, notably, the different placement of the radio and glovebox. By the time production of the 400 GT 2+2 ended in 1969, a total of 224 examples had been made.
