Lexus IS - XE10 (1999 to 2005)

The first generation of Lexus IS was introduced in Europe in 1999 and North America for the 2001 model year. Known as the XE10, the first generation Lexus IS was available as a sedan, or SportCross hatchback. The XE10 was offered with a 2.0L inline 4, a 2.5L inline 6, or a 3.0L inline 6 engine. Built until 2005, the XE10 was replaced by the second generation Lexus IS XE20.
