The Lincoln Motor Company is an American Automotive manufacturer founded in 1917. Mostly associated with crafting luxury cars, Lincoln began as an independent manufacturer, but was taken over by Ford in 1922, and has since been used as Ford's luxury division. While over the course of its life, Lincoln has had mixed fortunes, the company has created some highly notable models such as the K Series, Continental, Zephyr, and Mark Series. In more modern times, the company has focused on its luxury SUVs, such as the Lincoln Navigator.
