Lola T70 (1965 to 1969)

The Lola T70 was introduced to the market in 1965 as a sport prototype developed by Lola Cars. Lola was in charge of building the chassis and coachwork, while adding (usually) big American V8 engines capable of over +500hp, propelling the car with great performance and making them top-tier racing cars. The T70 came in different variants with different engine configurations, and in two body styles, Coupe and Spyder. The T70’s were present both in Europe and USA and took part in the world’s most renowned tracks such as Laguna Seca, Le Mans, and Daytona amongst others adding several victories to their name. In 1969 production of the T70 came to a halt since they were no longer as competitive thanks to the new Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512 BB/LM.
