Lotus Elan 1st Gen (Type 26,36 & 45) (1962 to 1975)

The Lotus Elan was first introduced in 1962. The Elan was a lightweight front engined sports car that was available as roadster or coupe. Initially the Elan was released as a two seat coupe, yet in 1967, the Elan +2 variant was introduced, which featured two small rear seats. Over the course of production, the Elan was fitted with a 1.5L or 1.6L inline four engine. The Elan was widely praised for its dynamic abilities, and remains a highly sought after classic car.
