The Marmon Model 8 also known as the "Big 8" or "Big Eight" was manufactured between 1928 and 1933 by Marmon. The Model 8 was available as a 2 door convertible as well as a 4 door sedan. The name was given due to the straight eight engine which was a 315 cubic inch that produced 125 hp and was paired to a four speed manual gearbox with drive being sent to the rear wheels. Most of the bodies for the Model 8 were designed by the famed coachbuilder LeBaron.
