The Matra Murena is a French car with a mid-rear engine layout and rear-wheel drive. The tiny two-door, little-known vehicle came with a choice of two different four-cylinder engines. Perhaps the most interesting feature of the car is the seating configuration. All three individual seats are mounted next to each other in the front row of the vehicle. This curious, cluttered configuration is made even more confusing by the existence of a manual transmission in the leg path of the first passenger seat. The car was only produced from 1980 to 1983.
