Maybach introduced their range of SW cars in 1935. This series of ultra luxury cars were fitted with inline 6 engines in three displacements: 3.5L, 3.8L, and 4.2L. The engine displacement gave each variant its name (SW35, SW38, SW42). The SW range of cars were offered as sedans or cabriolets, but a few coachbuilt examples of different styles were also created. A limited production range, the SW ended production in 1941.
