The Naturally-Aspirated Mazda RX-7 Coupe debuted for the 1986 model year, and was part of the 2nd Gen Mazda RX-7 family. These hardtop sports cars were powered by a 1.3L twin-rotor rotary engine that had an output of 146hp. This power drove the rear wheels through two transmission options, a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed automatic. Production of the 2nd Gen Naturally-Aspirated RX-7 Coupe lasted until 1992, when Mazda introduced the 3rd Generation RX-7.
