Mazda RX-7 Turbo II - FC (1987 to 1992)

The Mazda RX-7 Turbo II was a high performance variant of the 2nd Gen Mazda RX-7 that debuted for the 1987 model year. The Turbo II featured a turbocharged 1.3L twin rotor rotary engine that was introduced with an output of 185hp. In 1989, the twin-scroll turbocharger was improved, raising output to 200hp. This engine was paired to a 5 speed manual transmission, sending drive to the rear wheels. For 1988, a special 10th Anniversary Turbo II was built, with just 1,500 examples of the Anniversary produced. Mazda continued to build the RX-7 Turbo until 1992.
