The Mercedes-Benz ML350 4MATIC was a variant of the W164 M-Class that was introduced for the 2006 model year. The ML 350 4MATIC was powered by Mercedes' M272.963 engine, which was a 3.5L V6 that generated 272hp and 258 lb ft of torque. Power from this engine was sent to all four wheels via a 7 speed automatic transmission. Although all ML350 4MATICs were equipped with Mercedes' 4MATIC all wheel drive system, these cars were only officially given the 4MATIC designation after 2006. Production of the W164 Mercedes-Benz lasted until 2011, but the model series continued for the next generation M-Class as the W166 Mercedes-Benz ML350 4MATIC.
