The Mercedes-Benz 380SEC 5.0 AMG was a series of C126 S-Class Coupes introduced in 1982. This series of cars was based on the 380 SEC, and featured tuning and refinement from famed Mercedes tuner AMG. The 5.0 AMG was created before AMG was acquired by Mercedes-Benz, and featured an enlarged 5.0L V8 engine, as well as a trademark 'Wide Body' bodykit. Production of the 5.0 AMG was very limited, with examples built until 1985.
