Mercedes-Benz 560SEC 6.0 AMG - C126 (1986 to 1991)

The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC 6.0 AMG is one of the German brand's most sought after models. Introduced in 1986, the 6.0 AMG was based on the Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC, but featured a range of tuning and improvements. The 6.0 AMG's party piece was its engine, originally a 5.6L V8 unit, AMG bored the engine to 6.0L and gave it four valves per cylinder and dual-overhead camshafts. This mighty engine generated 380hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. When creating the 6.0, AMG not only reworked the engine, but the suspension and interior, creating a truly special machine. One of the most notable changes on the 6.0 AMG was the 'Wide Body' body and aero kit that gave the car a menacing, sporty look. Production of the 6.0 AMG lasted until 1991, with only around 50 examples believed to have been built.
