Mercedes-Benz SLK200 - R170 (1997 to 2004)

The Mercedes-Benz SLK200 was a variant of the R170 SLK-Class that was introduced for the 1997 model year. The SLK 200, not to be confused with the SLK200 Kompressor, was only available in a folding-hardtop convertible body style, and was powered by Mercedes' M111.946 engine, which was a naturally aspirated 2.0L inline four that had an output of 134hp. This engine sent power to the rear wheels through manual or automatic transmission options. Production of the R170 Mercedes-Benz SLK200 ended in 2004.
