Mitsubishi Eclipse - 3rd Gen (2000 to 2005)

The third generation of Mitsubishi Eclipse was introduced for the 2000 model year. The third generation Eclipse, also known as the 3G, saw the model get redesigned exterior, while still offered in liftback coupe and convertible body styles. Whereas previous generations were offered with all wheel drive, the third generation only saw front wheel drive variants powered by a selection of inline four or V6 engines. Production of the third generation Eclipse lasted until 2005, when it was replaced by the Fourth Generation Mitsubishi Eclipse.
